I think double jeopardy is for denying clear goal scoring chances, you can still be sent off for a pen if it?s a dangerous tackle like that one.

As for handball no one knows the law any more!

Someone like Freckleton is one you sign with one eye on potentially selling for a profit down the line as well.

    Fair enough.
All I'm says big names dropping down the divisions doesn't always work out.
Look how it panned out for Harry Arter for example at Notts. Lucky for them he was only on loan.
*and I said 'may find himself benched' and if that would to be the case, that would be an expensive substitute.

Unless Cook is guaranteeing starting places for players if they sign

Arter had barely kicked a ball competitively in the lead up to his County move whereas Cooper while not what you would call a regular has seen fairly regular football with Leeds and Scotland.

    And we shouldn't be either.
I'm sure if we are in the market for a CB, we can pick one up cheaper who can do the standard required.
I'm assuming that Grimes and Dunkley are starters (as long as one is left and the other right) so apart from a big wage, Cooper my find himself benched.
We have Williams and Palmer atm on the books along with Naylor who can fill in.
Nutshell, I think Cooper would be a bad move. If one of Williams and Palmer leave, then replace

If Cooper did sign he would start end of story....dont sign someone has played in the championship on a regular basis and then leave him on the bench when we dont have others of that standard especially initially. If Cooper came in and played awful then yes Cook would likely drop him but thats not going to happen initially.

That said for what its worth i cant see him coming here anyway for that situation to arise.
