Injured Players Returning Etc

I've noticed the Club have stated that both Evatt and Jones are fit for pre-season training.

However, there has been no mention of the position regarding Angel or O'Neil so are we to assume these two aren't ready yet?

Similarly, whilst we know Orrell has left I have not seen anything regarding whether or not the youngsters, Daly and Morrison, have actually signed nor any knews regarding Simons or Beesley both of whom were offered new terms.

Anybody heard owt?

From Angel's tweets it would appear he's been in Spain for most of the break. I'm guessing the backroom staff won't therefore have had the chance to assess his fitness. Should know more this week

He has been back in between to see a specialist so they must have some idea

Simons is under contract anyway until 2017

Simons definitely signed a two year deal with the club in 2015. It was announced by the club that he had. If you can find the original press release on the clubs website it states this.

Why the club have announced that Simons' contract expired I don't know. I'm assuming here it was an option deal for a further year.

ok, so can we assume he's not been offered an extension? or that he has, but hasn't signed it yet?

Also, What about Donohue?

Signed a one year deal last summer but I don't recall news of him signing an extension?

As for Rai - believe he activated a second year option thanks to his reaching a set number of appearances.
