Just had a phone call from Paul (foreverblue),who helps to run the Bridge Inn travel club, this guy is a top guy,the most genuine guy you would ever wish to meet, anyway he wanted me to put a message on the board that his son Luke a Spireite fan 23 years of age was found dead today in his flat, some of you will probably know him, cause of death is not known at this time. RIP Luke......

Paul is as genuine as they come and he, Luke and the family sit close to me. The family have already been through it, this is terrible news. My thoughts are with them.

Always sad to hear about the passing of a fellow fan but aged just 23 it really doesn't bear thinking about. RIP Luke and sincere condolences to his family.

Edit: Just looked at his FB page and a sudden wave of sickening emotion came over me. Terrible just absolutely terrible.

It's difficult to find the words when reading about such sad news. Thoughts go out to Paul and his family.

It is bad enough to get one phone call of bad news but Pauls was the second i had today,a family friend who had suffered with Parkinsons was found by her daughter this morning only 60 years old and i have known her since i can remember, what a day,i knew Luke only briefly and was a lovely lad.....

Luke was a credit to your family. I used to see him all over the place supporting Town. A terrible loss.

Didn't know the lad, but he was a Spireite, and more than that, as is obvious from all your comments, much loved. His Facebook page provides good evidence why. My heartfelt condolences go out to Paul and the rest of his family - a tragic loss of a life too short.

RIP Luke.

Luke's dad here and I can't sleep tonight. Such a tremendous loss to a lot of people; I know that I am his dad but I have never met a kinder, more caring, decent person than Luke. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and he loved life and CFC in particular.

He was a better supporter than I will ever be as he was just that, a supporter of the team who never criticised or jeered any player or the team. I will miss him so much but he will always be there with me and his grandad who he dearly loved and cared for.

God bless you Luke.
