..to a pub brekkie then another match day meeting, mingling and mixing with massed ranks of fellow Town fans before and after a sold out game.

To finally drawing a line under what Carson and Co did to us.

To a summer where we can proudly wear our colours.

To eyebrow raising signings.

To the fixture lists coming out.

To days out at Notts and Donny.

To another sold out and sun-drenched Tairn grairnd hosting our long awaited return.

And most of all I'm looking forward to driving down Sheffield Road and not seeing 'National League' on that sign advertising our next match...

Had a nosey on Port Vale's forum last night whilst killing a few minutes.

Their mood is gloomy for next season, but one post described us as potentially dangerous, and us and Bradford(?) are "glamour" fixtures.

Hope we do get to face Donny home and away but they are on a right run of form, fancy them to get in the play offs and have a good chance of promotion.
They always say a team comes from ‘nowhere’ and sneak into the playoffs well this year it could well be them.
They looked like a team in relegation trouble not so long back.

Yeah my vale mates not happy!! i wudn't mind getting Ben Garrity from them if he is out of contract. He is their top scorer this season in midfield and well thought of by most fans.

Not having to scroll down below the Scottish Premiership to get to the NL on the gambling sites.

Will look forward to not:

Facing sides you’d have never in your worst nightmares thought you face in the league, and losing to them.

Having to join the preliminary qualifying rounds for the FA Cup
