Ok they got a lot stick from jealous lower league fans (the whole ‘Hollywood’ stupid nickname.

I was recently in OZ and everyone loves them there!
To see a club about the same size as ours getting worldwide fame is crazy and brilliant.

Plus the recent Accrington issue was handled brilliantly by them - who wouldn’t want owners as invested and passionate as theirs?!

The best thing about the Accrington issue is that they beat 2-0

I’d genuinely rather see Mansfield go up

Why?
Because they have owners who are decent guys rather than Radfotd? Mansfield have been arch rivals for decades - Wrexham have always been a decent club with no issues with Town ever.

My biggest issue is not Wrexham or the owners but the way the media had a massive love in with it all and gave them pretty much blanket coverage. At times the BBC Sport non league page would pretty much have every headline someway related to Wrexham.

I think its great how invested the two hollywood lads have got, i'm not sure they ever expected for it to get to them as much as it did and i'm glad they got involved at a smaller club where they could have a big impact on both the club and the community.

It’s not a love in - it’s how the world works.

A successful cub run by an A list movie star- will always be of interest rather than say Solihull or Dorking - mid table run by local no mark business men.
It’s just jealousy which is crazy when we all want lower league teams to have some focus and attention don’t we?

I get the coverage of the club when its actually covering them but at times they would be shoe horned into any conversation or coverage of non league football even when they werent involved. Seem to remember once there 16 of the 18 headlines on the BBC Sport Non League football were in some way about Wrexham when they could have had other match coverage etc on there as well.

That's because the BBC Wales Sport page updated more often because of Wrexham being one of Wales' premier clubs and with them being non-league it was sadly more on them. I agree the BBC page on non-league clubs could be updated more though on other stories.

Suspect the current raft of cutbacks to local bbc services is not helping on the non league coverage front.

Wrexham a decent club with mainly decent fans got a lucky break. They did bring attention to the lower leagues, but the whole thing became over the top and boring.Very American very tedious

Radio Sheffield have travelled and featured us in last two games mainly due to the international break, good for the mileage account claim.
God I hate this league.

Being the only side in the area doing anything of note this season probably helps as well

It was mentioned maybe a month or two back that we had more points than the others combined, we're only 19 points behind almost half way through the season
