Altrincham? they'd be a good fit for Jeff wouldn't they?

Definitely mate, I'd be well pleased for him if he went there.

Played his part, great player but this was inevitable really based on Cookie preferring Mandy at RWB when King was also available.

Hope he gets a decent gig somewhere.

JK was a class above most the squad when he arrived

But Cook's evolved that squad to whole new levels.

He can leave with head held high in the knowledge he'll easily find a top NL outfit...

Correct decision for the club but more importantly in this instance, correct decision for Jeff.

At times this season, it looked to me like he was struggling with confidence and the only way he'll overcome that is by starting games on a regular basis. At this stage of his career he needs to be playing and there was no guarantee that was going to be the case next season.

He's been part of two fantastic seasons and it's unfortunate that he's leaving, but that's football.

Good luck, Jeff.

That in someway was of his own making. We don't know why he lost his way, but it was evident he couldn't overcome it. He has as been a cracking player, but not this season sadly. Good luck in the future Jeff I hope some fans get to witness the quality you obviously have just like we have for two seasons

Not fit enough not fast enough not light enough but maybe could thrive in a 3-5-2 where he plays all the time

Think the club are looking for more running power through the middle.

Jacobs oozes class you don't need pace in droves when you are an intelligent player like he is. Cook would be a fool to release him IMHO

Thought in his interview in front of the town hall that he said he had an option for another year but its in discussion.
Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves for a longer deal depending on what we offer him
