No fan of either side but as much as I dislike them at least you can argue Bromley are a club with natural history behind them and they’ve built from the lower leagues.

Coincidentally I think they will come down in a few years like Sutton.

Don't like either, but pleased Bromley beat shithousery Moors and Osborne can stay a non league player .

Bromley won't now have AstroTurf advantage at home either

They’ll be back down again soon enough.

Well they have been there or thereabouts most of the season , so to be expected. Pity Barnet bottled it at the end.

Could he do a job for us?

Now that is a question.
There’s no doubting he’s a decent player but it’s the way he conducts himself on the field.
Depends on how Paul Cook wants to approach next season.
Is he a player that will disrupt the opposition and wind them up? Most certainly, would we want that type of player ? Who knows.
One things for sure he gets under the oppositions skin.

The cost of new pitch could range from a cheapy at £150k or a top qualty one at £500k. Wonder where Bromely will get the money from?

Why do artificial pitches continue to divide opinion in elite football? - The Athletic

It’s a bit less they can spend on players ;)

I guess it will depend what the substrate is under the carpet and the amount of drainage required. I’d expect it would be much nearer 500K. They get the money from the EFL just like we will but it’ll cut into their budget. They seem to have a productive academy so I think they’ll do ok like Harrogate and Sutton did for a while.

They need to massively upgrade the facilities for visiting supporters

The Bromley commentary team on the BBC thought that it was.

The facilities are atrocious. There is no way that ground could cope with Gillingham and Wimbledon support who will no doubt travel in high numbers.

Never a foul. Watching in slow motion the Moors players foot hits Cheeks leg from behind.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a very quick return. Just look at the amount of teams in L2 no ‘bigger’ than them.

To be honest I’m glad the moors failed but they are both practises of the ‘dark arts’
Glad, however to see the back of that ‘Osbourne’ what a cheating baasterd he is..

As I recall, Bromley’s personnel on the bench can be quite antagonistic towards the opposing bench, and Cheek does love to wind up home fans - think L2 teams might get a real taste of non league sh*thousery. Could be quite interesting

Oh well.

Don’t usually dislike teams (we all have decent fans) but for Solihull I make an exception due to their board, manager, team and tactics.

Sbarra anyone?

Sbarra is a good player at NL level as has Conn-Clark proved to be. Both are on the small side too. Maybe, Sbarra would be a cheaper option and could provide competition on the right side of midfield.

They won't bother us with it next season Phil.

And he would be useful if you're a smoker and you're struggling for a light. I seem to remember him offering the referee one once when he played against us lol.

Why is Osbourne a cheat?

From what I’ve seen of him he’s a really good player at NL level and a huge part of why Solihull are consistently in and around the playoffs. He takes control of games and dictates how Solihull want to play. Constantly in the refs tab but that’s for the ref to control.

Is he anymore of a ‘****h@use’ than our legend JL or a current fans favourite in Dobs?
