I think he'd only tell someone he knows.

It's the norm to only count competitive fixtures in appearance and goal stats. As the Chinese observers have found, given the comments below the article (amongst the accusations of fraud) this is 2 goals in 8 games

how many of those 8 were starts and how many sub appearances? i don't know the answer to this question by the way... he is only 18? in an u21 league and if he had scored a lot of goals in friendly fixtures then any agent would reference those achievements.. again i don't know the goals/game ratio..

Wasn't GISS the school that brought us Liam Graham ?

Did you see the email from the lad to his dad, claiming that the coach Dymtro/Dimitri was trollied?

Source: http://revolutionglo...our-rebranding/

From the mother of a 14 year old player (The family never complained or said anything until they received the emails regarding our rebranding):

“It’s good to see that you recognize and are addressing these issues. I too had concerns regarding my son’s stay in Barcelona last summer through GISS.

He stayed for 30 days and he was not impressed with the coaching staff and training he received there. It was a far cry from what he receives here in America playing on a top level premier team. We thought he would be more challenged there and receive professional coaching. During the entire stay of 30 days, Morris Pagniello only showed up one day at their apartment and never actually came to the soccer fields to watch the players train. The head coach who roomed with the players, Dymtro Kolstov routinely drank throughout the stay which I found to be unprofessional when responsible for teenage boys. It seemed like they were taking lots of risks with these kids. What was advertised was not what he received. We were very disappointed in the amount of money spent for what he actually benefited from. We weren’t expecting him to get a contract or anything, but didexpect professionalism and a good training experience, not just a vacation.

He never received any official feedback/evaluation from the experience which I found to be extremely disappointing. My perception following the experience was that it was a money making racket playing on dreams of young players wanting to play in Europe. Good luck with the rebranding.”

From a 17 year old player to his father:

“Hey Dad,

So lots of bad stuff happened last night. Don’t worry, I’m okay and nothing happened to me at all, but I am not very comfortable here anymore. It sucks.

So yesterday we went to the gym in the morning and then spent the afternoon on the beach. And I guess Dimitri brought a lot of alcohol with him because he was going to drink with the oldest player here, [PLAYER]. The drinking age here is 18 so it wasn’t illegal. But they drank quite a bit at the beach and were kind of drunk, which didn’t really bother me at first. But then they started to flirt with these girls and stuff. And I saw Dimitri start like, kissing this girls hand and her cheek and trying to untie her bathing suit top and stuff right even though she didn’t really want him to. It was really weird. So I just walked home right away I didn’t want to be a part of it. It turns out that the girls they were talking to were only 16 years old.

Which is so wrong. And so they came home from the beach because we were going out to dinner with Juan at a pizza place. It was fine but Dimitri kept drinking and stuff. Like, We all had a complimentary glass of wine mixed with juice because it’s just something they do there. But Dimitri ended up drinking a little heavily and he ended up driving us home drunk after dinner, which was at like 11:30. Then he went out again with two or three of the guys to a club, full of teenagers again, then they went to one or two strip clubs and didn’t get home until 7 in the morning. I also saw a picture of Dimitri standing in the middle of the road peeing this morning.

So obviously I know not to go out with these guys at night or whatever. The problem that I have with this is that I don’t want to be a person who is part of this kind of behavior, or associated with these kinds of people.

They were reckless last night, and stupid. I couldn’t believe he drove us home that way. It was so stupid. I don’t want to be a person who condones this type of behavior, but I have to live with him. The apartment was so messy when I woke up today. It’s 4:15 right now and I think he might still be asleep. I am so disappointed and drunk off. I thought this was supposed to be professional. I understand that people go out on the weekend, and that it’s a choice that anyone can make, but they’re dangerous and this isn’t what I signed up for.”

This Dimitri sounds a top lad. Can we get him over for a night out?

Seems some so called professional coaches like getting trollied while looking after young lads in Spain.
Photos do tell a story in a frame too don't you think? I bet there are such photos out there of many senior staff face down drunk abroad out there.
Must be a trend for senior staff 🤔

My sentiments entirely.

Do 17 year old lads REALLY write like that? Give me a jolly drunk any day over a sanctimonious little turd.

Are you referring to the guy who tried removing a girl's top when she didn't want him to as a 'jolly drunk'?

Or, apparently, a sneering insult over a worthwhile observation.

Hundreds of posts narrating our club's name being dragged through the mire yet this is your only contribution?

Other than a few more taunts so bitter and ignorant the mods were forced to delete them, of course...
