Two different walks from the Walking for Health groups from all over North Derbyshire, Expires and Walking Football participants playing at the Proact (albeit in the car park) and Senior Spireites all involved.
Almost 100 enjoying a £10 Christmas lunch in the Legends Lounge with Chester the Field-mouse, Paul Cook, Sam Hird, Liam Cooper and Connor Townsend. There was also a turn by Billy Flywheel that demonstrated his mind-reading abilities all hosted by Phil Tooley on great form.
After lunch there was a ground tour.
This is the sort of event that the Club and Trust should be hosting.
At the same time a major charity partner of the Trust was using the Proact Stadium for their Board Meeting.

Pete, I mentioned on a thread ages ago that I saw Billy Flywheel stood near the dug-out (thinks it was Forest in the cup) and asked if anyone knew why he was there - does he have a roll within the club? I only ask because I used to work with him at Duckmanton before I joined the Navy, can't for the life of me remember his real name though.
I of course meant 'role' within the club before the pedants start.

My dad asked me to post that his name is John Billings and he's from Inkersall.

Many thanks Kopgirl, say hi to your dad from me, he may not remember me but might remember the name - Paul Evangelista / Vange. I started at Duckmanton in 86 as an apprentice leccy, then took redundancy in 92 to join the Navy.

He said it doesn't ring a bell, but he's called Paul Bramley and everyone used to call him Bram, if that brings back any memories for you?

Apologies, I mistook your post thinking you were saying Billy Flywheel was your dad. Did 'Bram' work at Duckmanton Workshops as well?
