bookies are rarely wrong. Weren't P'boro, Darlo and MK first 3 in betting pre season and the 2 pboro strikers favourites to be top goalscorer?

Lets hope McLean's hatrick tonight has motivated Jack to do the same tomorrow

The Posh.result tonight makes me feel even more frustrated at our home results against the so called poorer sides such as Accrington. How many chances have we missed this season especially when Jack has been missing? Times many we could have had at least 3 or 4 at home but the likes of Ward (especially), Rooney and Fletch. are unable to give the goalscoring backing Jack deserves, mainly due to lack o0f composure (not ability) in front of goal.
McClean has scored not far off 30goals so far, then the likes of M-Smith and Boyd are even pushing towards Jack's super 18goals.
Big Fletch.contributes a great deal to the team, but he must start scoring more goals, him and Ward should be pushing for double figures before the end of February to give us a chance of keeping in the promotion chase. Rooney has 6goals but I don't class him as an automatic choice on paper, but goalwise he's done a craching job compared to the other pair.
Great win for Posh., come on Town we are not aasking for 8 goals, but we do demmand wins in the next 2 home games.

Your right about Wardy....in the last 4 matches or so he's had a hatful of chances......if someone could tell they guy not to snatch at every shot, we would be winning games comfortably.
Teams like Peterboro show that ur defence doesnt have to be that good at this level, aslong as they out gun the opponents the 3 points will come.

If we can get it right up front, and take our chances....a automatic spot is still achievable.

Rooney is still our second highest scorer despite relatively few starts. So do we play him as he appears to be one of our most clinical finsihers and if so at the expense of who? Can't really drop Jack so that leaves Ward removed from the front and moved to the either the bench, the wing or we play 4-3-3 which exposes our full backs.

I seem to remember most on here excited about his shoot on sight policy when he first arrived. Now we know he's not good enough he's just snatching at every shot

I can't remember us scoring at least 5 in a game since 1990. Whether my memory is correct or not, we really should have had five or more in a couple of games this season.

B) And look what Bury managed without a Manager or Director of Football. A first win in 8 against a club 2 levels higher than themselves.
Many a good tune
