Concourse was fine in the east stand before the match and at half time. Quick service for a beer

Not sure that abusing the staff is my idea of complaining. If you want to complain, speak to those who can change it, not those on the front line....

I haven’t abused any staff.

But if you’re gonna charge customers actual cash for undercooked excrement then they’ll probably have to take it on the chin especially in this day and age unfortunately.

It’s the clubs issue to sort out not the upset ripped off fans.
Let me in!

My season ticket didn’t work, one of very many apparently, there were about 10 people with me at the time and loads more beforehand. Was told to go to reception but then was told by a very pleasant but very flustered lady at reception that I’ll have to go back to my entrance and tell the steward just to let us in as she’s already sorted loads out and she’s on her own and she was too busy. Unfortunately the steward didn’t seem to believe the message so had to wait another 10 minutes until the supervisor stepped in and opened the exit for us. Shambles.

My lads St didn't work either. I was told to wait in the ticket line and swapped our St's for printouts. Gonna get a call in the week apparently to pick em back up/pick up new ones. Had a feeling there'd be problems. The usually is

I never buy a pie so no idea of the quality, but saw plenty eating them in the East stand to-day - just saying.

Last time I had a pie it was fine, not cheap but what is nowadays. Not as good as the Jackson’s ones we used to have but I’d hardly call it rubbish or excrement.

The East stand concourse was Bob on yesterday. Hardly any queues and quick professional service.

It did seem alarmingly quiet under there though. At 245 the queue was only 1 deep.

Pie at half time was good also.

Fair play.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Here's my take on it:

The arrival of the Kirks staved off another financial crisis at CFC as it became evident that the current incumbents possessed none of the qualities needed to run a successful football club. My only hope is that over time it might become reassuringly clear that the Kirks' business talents are being fully utilised and things are being run far better. From the outside, I'm seeing little change - money being thrown about on expensive signings, revenue generating opportunities being routinely missed and a lack of any real accountability, but is it too early to judge?

And whilst the people at the helm deserve some credit for taking things on from the shambolic, car crash previous owners, they have enormous responsibility and they're falling short. For the older among us, remember Red Adair? He was great at putting out fires and conducting salvage operations, but that didn't make him a suitable CEO for Shell.

Red Adair? Is he the guy that used to dance with Ginger Rogers?

Has the raw material gone down the pan or is it the case that the ‘chef de partie’ behind the counter is cremating them

Don't know. Had a cheese & onion pie at the Sheffield United pre season game and it was fine.
The pies are brought in frozen and get cooked by us on the day.

Just a thought, could each selling point in the concourse areas be leased out, the rent for each gives a guaranteed income for the club without having to sort staffing, each selling area could have different offers giving fans more variety of food and drink, hopefully this could improve quality and service and could then be available to be open after the game for post match food and drink for those wishing to discuss the game with mates before heading home and ease some pressure on cars leaving the car park

The rent would have to total more than we are currently taking to make it worth it for the club. Don't think they'd take a loss in that department.
With having a different offering in each area, without the ability of fans to move to different areas of the ground I'm not entirely sure that could work.

There is enough space in the concourses to have additional pop ups to sell things and create extra rent, still worth the number crunching as there are hidden costs to the concourses including time to sort and source staffing and stock, risk of waste.
