In theory a manager who knows what he’s doing.

Same can be said of Garrard. I predict he'll be reinstated if B/W survive.

Fair comment but Gordon knows square route of nowt. He’s probably relegated them next season if anything.

They need to stop up this year first

I know and considering Gordon’s comments it’s better they get it out the way this season anyway.

Presumably Britarses prediction about Colchester being a powerhouse is solely based on the Cowley Brothers reputation. Frankly their record since leaving Lincoln is a bit mediocre.

I was at Maidenhead v Barnet. There were 1700 there and only one bloke knew why Barnet were awarded a penalty in the 95th minute.
Weird when Dean Brennan got booked for going nuts over a throw in.,He yelled " I am Irish and proud of it ".
Maidenhead will be a handful, as usual.

You'd hope they have a contingency in place that doesn't favour the opposition too much because it is all rather predictable. Glad we got our game out of the way even though we got turned over, god knows when they would've fitted it in

What are the RFL rules regarding artificial grass? Just had a look and they are allowed, however should they have ambitions of coming to the EFL they can't use it so what's the point?

Think that Halifax fan suggested they’d need one of those hybrid pitches where artificial fibres are woven into the grass turf if they hope to gain entry into the EFl and still share it with Rugby. Of course the local council owns it so it would be their investment.

Fylde v Gateshead pitch inspection tomorrow - if off that could mean fitting 5 games in. Couldn’t do that without playing on consecutive nights

In local football, outfits unable to fulfill fixtures for any reason forfieted a three-nil win to their opponents.

Surprised the amateurs running the NL haven't thought of that themselves...

I’m sure Oldham fans would love that rule - they might even make the playoffs

They don’t own the ground so not their call to make plus it appears they have designs on getting promoted so pointless when they would have to dig it up if they got promoted.

Lewes FC had a £750,000 lottery grant for one of those hybrid pitches 2 years ago and its like a billiard table. They have only had 1 postponement in that time.

I went a week ago and it looks the same as it did in August. For anyone who's the slightest bit interested, highlights here: https://www.youtube....h?v=Nj6TZw_Otfo
