Pickford as usual a liability, weak save and ball pushed back into the danger zone whereas DD seems to think it’s the save of the season!

To be fair he was unsighted and did well to get a hand to it. Rice seems uncharacteristically off it, players running by him but the build up play of Italy has been brilliant.

Looked brilliant because England players just continually backed off them. How many passes did Italy complete leading to the Pickford save? Must have been about 20 without an England player touching it. Wouldn't have happened in Nobby Stiles' day!

Another golden gift to Southgate, let’s see if he f..ks this next championship up.
Come on Jude, don’t do the smashed face dive when you were pushed in the chest!

Shouldn't be even close to the squad when the likes of Ward-Prowse are frozen out of the picture.

Think it’s harsh criticising Pickford, who is best keeper we’ve got by a distance currently, for a fairly close up save where he’s unsighted. He’s got a good hand to it to stop it going in then got the bit of luck he deserved for the save that it dropped to one of ours to clear. Not sure how else he’s meant to save it.
