My good friend Astra, the Pagan Goddess and Official Saviour of the SPIRITES, and I, decided to listen to the Aldershot game, on 1966 Sport, at the Innuit Vegan Cafe in Danesmoor.
When we arrived the cafe was already overflowing with around 200 fellow SPIRITES, all in good spirit, munching away on plant based humus and linseed crackers, with many drinking the hostelry's famous yarrow tea.
Immediately upon Aldershot taking the lead, my good friend, Astra the Pagan Goddess and Official Saviour of the SPIRITES, leaped upon the counter and led us off with the legendary SPIRITE chant of AUM RESHNI CHAAT.
Soon the entire band of SPIRITES joined in and POSITIVITY was restored.
The chant continued throughout the game, and as the SPIRITES emerged victorious at the final whistle, all SPIRITES present poured into the car park and celebrated with the Pagan dance ritual CELEBRATION of LIFE.
It was decided, by consensus, to gather at the cafe for every away game.
All SPIRITES are invited to join us, with an introductory offer of 10% off their first order of ginseng and tumeric cordial.
Join us and feel the joy of the Universe, fellow SPIRITES.
Peace and Love.

Wondered about the possibility of divine or spiritual intervention during that game - explains a lot about what was going on

It was Astral whot won it

Who’d have thought such a niche cafe would take off in Danesmoor. It must be coming up in the world.

Entirely fitting for the Centre of the known Universe.

Or at least it was when John Lowe used to take Eric Bristow to the Bottom Pub for a game of darts.

I wonder what happened to that shack type shop that use to be opposite to Ashton Containers.

I’m just amazed there’s that many Innuits in Danesmoor let alone (god forbid) vegan ones!

I must admit their Plant Food Seal Sausages Cobs are really tasty

ETA previous post should read 'off topic'. Had to correct it: was making me feel quite out of sorts .....
