Didn’t look to bad on the video (all 2 hours plus) to be honest. On the other hand not great either.

Just don’t understand why they bother playing in a proper stadium or indeed why we accommodate them. More ballboys than spectators.

To acclimatise them to the current atmosphere at Bramall Lane?

It is certainly reminiscent of Bramell Lane about 60 minutes into one of their home games.

Pitch here at York is fantastic to say they also play rugby on it !

Also two groundsmen cutting the grass straight after the game never seen us do that.

They won’t be cutting, they are called clean up machines that smash up any debris and put in back into the surface to repair any divots and should be done immediately after every game and as you say, have never seen this happen at the end of any of our games

Because we don’t have a clean up machine?

It’s a hybrid pitch with plastic and real grass

All pitches are hybrids now it’s called a Deso system.

Town board have just signed off having arrival grass all the way around the pitch for next season.

I don’t think all pitches are Desso. It may be the default now but not when we laid ours.

Do you think Halifax had artificial fibres? It was well integrated with the mud if so.

We are replacing the astroturf pitch surrounds but Kirk didn’t go into any details about its makeup.

It’s also taken care of by Leeds, who use it for the reserves/PL2/Youth team. That’s what someone told me yesterday anyway.

The blue astroturf around the pitch at Leicester looks good.

Our pitch is fibresand, as per this piece from a few year ago.

I wonder how long their contract has to run?

The good people at Pugh Lewis did our first pitch at the B2Net and have recently done all the work at the training ground.

They were only maintaining it. One of the first things the Trust did was to bin them and bring in an in house groundskeeper.
