Will this day become the worst ever in our clubs history ?

The nightmare scenario of a Mansfield Town win confirming our relegation to non-league wilderness and also having to endure the taunts of a couple of thousand Scabs fans celebrating their victory whilst

confirming their promotion at the same time.

The game also marred by numerous pitch invasions by both sets of fans, plus violence breaking out inside and outside the stadium on a scale previously unseen.

Whilst this takes place Ashley Carson sits gloating in the padded seats of the West Stand as Sheffield Wednesday cruise to an away win at Hull City.

Game will be abandoned if losing and it means significance in going down for Town. Messrs Carson and Allen (if he bothers) will need a police escort away from the ground IMO.

when we go 3 up after half hour itll not be us invading pitch itll be them.
we survive, they get pt deduction & miss out on play offs.

If there was any chance of the scabs relegating us that day i will stay away. I honestly could not trust myself to behave and probably end up ****ting someone and end up banned or worse.

Absolutely. Like we are just going to roll over. It'll be electric and probably remembered for the wrong reasons. I'll return for this one, if survival, etc, depends on it.

If this is a likely scenario, I foresee a horrible experience in more ways than one

I've got 2 young boys.im seriously thinking of giving this one a miss.i'm thinking that some won't give a too hoots about a ban from a club that's going out the league or out of existence altogether.

Probably the nastiest experience i have seen watching CFC was the Cardiff match at Saltergate, in the Brown era

That was very very nasty before the match & all night........i think the aforementioned scenario will be worse!

So long as I keep my front room windows closed, I shouldn't be able to hear them. I'll be there for all the others, but that one? I think we've all suffered enough!

It seemed on that day,a bank holiday weekend it was well known that their hooligan element was turning out in force.

In fact a load of them were booked into the Ibis overnight.

Word had got round and there were folks from Leeds United,Leicester City,Forest,Derby County, etc, along with every nutter from North East Derbyshire out to give them a warm welcome.

I was working town centre that evening and the violence went on till about 9-10 o'clock at night when they were eventually forced back into the Ibis and the doors locked for their own protection.

Even then there was a couple of half hearted attempts to set fire to the place.

One town supporting mate of mine was booked into the ibis with his Mrs to celebrate their wedding anniversary that particular night...apparently it was a bit of a tense evening in the bar to say the least!

Another mate spent the day in the royal having his ear sewn back on having been hit in the head outside the kop by a pint glass thrown by one of our lot, which was declared to be "friendly fire" by a fellow poster on here....

A very tasty day indeed!

No aggression. No violence. Large disruption.
