If we’re relying on Fortune to score the goals needed, we may as well give up now.

Well he has actually scored - that is a start

And he might even create

No place for both Denton and Fortune in the starting lineup imo.

A penalty and a tap in you'd have scored. Fortune isn’t the man to play up top with Denton in my view. Hines, someone like that maybe.

Love to be proven wrong - If he goes with this and it works (we win games), then I’d hold my hands up.

Well I have criticised him - he doesn’t have basic control or passing to be a footballer but he does have a bit more energy than most of the other drongos that MA has signed. Interestingly it was his diabolical control that made up his mind for that rather nice finish whe he lifted over the Braintree keeper

He is exactly as described by Barnet fans

Nelson is disgusting.

Yeah he’s abysmal. Can’t stand him. The way he wears his shorts even annoys me. Sunday league centre back.

The way he was skinned and left treading in treacle without their playing having to do a thing but run in a straight line is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Pub league clogger. Yeh, wearing his shorts as *** tuckers is absolute village .

I've played with better centre halfs in chesterfield Sunday league. He's rammel. Time to say sianara to this complete debacle of a side.

He had a nightmare, but not what I'd call ability related. A miss kick with disastrous consequences 'cos he was facing the wrong direction, a pass straight to them 'cos he was gesticulating to his team mates to find space and when they didn't he just tapped it forrad, an injury when he was caught in possession when the same thing happened, and a cross into the Tup's back yard.
People report after every match that he's injured. His appearance record suggest that's a myth.

Drew seemed to have the wrong studs in yesterday as he struggled to stay on his feet. He's been a useful player for us but I don't think he has had a good 90 minutes this season. There are those who disagree, I know, but he like most of the other outfield players, yesterday, needs to show a 100% improvement immediately or they can pick up their cards on Friday as far as I am concerned - they all looked like they'd been on the ale the night before and were scared of facing the Mrs. Mind you, if any of their partners were watching I'd like to think they had banned them to the spare bedroom in order to remind them what they need to do to continue to earn a wage from their chosen profession and to earn a return to the communal bed - improve their performance!!!

Let’s be honest here, you could probably make a team up from the Chesterfield Sunday League who would beat our current side.

Don't worry yourself over that little problem mate, in the East Stand, if Weston makes a mistake it's Weir's fault.

That won't be a problem next season as in Conference North we'll shut the stand down.

You probably could S H. At least you'd see some hunger and passion from every Sunday league player who'd wished they'd made it as a footballer. This lot are burgling a wage and just aren't very good footballlers. Even at this level they look absolutely clueless. Can't pass, dernt shoot, look nackered after 10 mins. Absolute shambles.

What was he doing out there?

Didn’t see the build up - too busy playing playing patience on my phone

It takes him that long to get anywhere it’s hard to say.

Having a 38 year old centre-half is a disaster waiting to happen, especially if they were only ever a third division clogger in their prime.

He’s had one good game at home this season. I’ve only been away once so can’t comment on his performances there however don’t dress it up in a season of utter dross he has been consistently one of the worst players. Keeps giving the ball away, kicking it in the crowd, getting caught in possession etc. Keep blowing smoke up his bottom won’t help. Legend but he’s poor even by this seasons standards. We’ve let 2 players go both better full backs nowadays. We’ve got so many gaps to fill to replace poor players it’s untrue, just where do you prioritise. With each round of departures and additions Allen is somehow making the team worse.

Drew was very good at Dagenham apparently. Barry generally isn't better but Smith was the best LB and I'd question Allen's judgement in releasing him.

comparing Barry with Drew is an insult.

The new Smith didn't strike me as a player who will grab midfield by the scruff of the neck. First impressions are another duff signing by Allen. He must be stopped from signing dross before it's too late.
