Asante is a much more all round player - he’s got goals where he beats the man, he scored one last season where he beat 4 or men on a maze run from the centre circle, played the channels etc while kabby is much more of a penalty box type.

IMO
A new hope.

They’re both intelligent footballers with complimentary skills should be reason enough.

This is exciting is it not two different strikers.
Asante will be targeting to be top scorer for the season. Quite a task, what would be the odds for that.

“Asante will be targeting to be top scorer for the season”….no he won’t, he’ll be happy playing again and back into the swing of things and helping us push on to promotion. On the other hand if he’s targeting to be top CFC scorer for the season, thus overtaking a Tishmanga lead of 16 goals from late November then to me that implies maybe someone won’t be here from January onwards!
East stand second class citizen.

As I've already said on another thread, I think they will complement each other very well. Asante tends to pick the ball up in fairly deep or wide positions, and go on powerful runs towards the opposition goal. Tshimanga, on the other hand, is more of a penalty box sniffer who pounces on chances, or even half-chances. Together, they will pose huge problems for opposition defences, and will prove very difficult to stop.

What they both seem to be is mobile, quick and strong. Central defenders dont like having to run around and less like being barged about which both of them seem to be very capable of doing. They will be a handful for defences and in turn create space and opportunities for others.

Correct, I can see the likes of Khan following up from midfield to pick up the pieces and increase his goal tally as he's a calm and accurate finisher.

I don’t think much to KT’s so happy for him to not to take them.

Tough to be critical of the great man but I have to agree. The stutter step pen relies on the keeper "falling for it" and diving early. If he does it is a tap in ( like against Weymouth ). If he stands his ground and anticipates it then Kabby has to score with no run up or backlift making it easier to save ( Like at Wrexham )

I just like my pens to be hit hard into a corner and then the keeper can do sod all tbh.

However at the end of the day he is WAY better at this than I could ever be so feels churlish to tell him what to do.

If he keeps scoring a goal a game he is in for a monster season

His penalty ratio is cracking to be fair despite his Wrexham miss

No! Unless it's top corners. Top bins are never saved! Keeper can guess correctly and save bottom corners left and right if not perfect placement.

No keeper ever saved one into the bottom left corner when Shinner took them, despite every team (and every fan) knowing exactly where they were going.

Asante had a very good time at St Georges. Will be back training with 1st team and physical contact on Monday.

He feels very fit and raring to go.

When do the fans expect to see him on the bench?

Will JR have the patience to bring him back slowly that is the question.

does AA have a song? hasn't actually played for us in front of a crowd yet. what about the old chant we used to have for o'shea? it works.
