Any players from The National League you think we should be signing if/when we go up?

He was mentioned on here a while ago as potentially signing in the summer.

Conn Clarke, thought he’d go in the window

I’d love him here

Drummond is highly rated and if we’ve a relationship with Macc following the Berry move then you never know, he fits our mould

Mancini from Hartlepool for a bit of continental panache

If Jacobs is OOC then I’d be trying to get Conn-Clarke before considering offering Jacobs a new deal. Although CC has failed to make an impression in his youth, he’s a great talent, perfect for Cook. .
CC also really rates Will Grigg.

Another player that really stood out for me is the Solihull goalie on loan from Ipswich, Nick Hayes. But I’d rather keep Harry if we can.

Imo we need another striker, and Dom Poleon was impressive. Don’t know what he’s doing at our level but I think he’d do very well surrounded by good players.

I thought Jacobs was contracted a bit longer than this season but could be wrong.

Not sure about Poleon, 30yrs old and bar his stint at Ebbsfleet he hasnt really scored that many goals. 33 goals in 217 appearances before his 68 in 110 for Ebbsfleet although a chunk of those will be NLS level.

There seems a lot of love for Mancini and he was very good against us in what turned out to be a cameo. Only 13 games for them and seems to be out again. Think I’d want to see a lot more of him

Liked thd look of Mancini at ours until his hamstring went 'twang'
Watched some highlights of a Pools match (might have been when Mancini returned to action) and he looked like he ran the show.
If azul is right in what he posts, that's not a lot of games and a big question mark over fitness

As long as he can prove his fitness, we have over the last few yrs had more than our fair share of injury prone players, we don't need to be going down that route again
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Mancini did look good and young but he's not played much regular football by the looks of it, if wikipedia is to be believed he had 34 apps for Angers Reserves in France between 2018 and 2020, nothing for Burnley in 2 years there 2020 to 2022, 2 games for Accrington in 2023 then 13 for Hartlepool this season. 49 apps in 6 years.

I think one thing we can all agree on is there is a raft of quality players in this league that could improve us next season and the years after. Rather have a player from Altrincham or Fylde that wants to progress than a Chris O’Grady 🤮character who wants to come here and sit on a massive contact and contribute nothing.

Fully agree Gordon.
