Not trying to curse it, but the way we are playing we could have over 50+ points before the start of the Christmas games schedule. That’s some achievement.

It is, I've said on other threads and FB message groups etc in the past, that to win this league you have to break records, Wrexham did it last year, those over the road did when they won it years back.

I never considered us likely to, if we win a league, its the last day by the odd point in 80 or so, but first time in 55 years we've won 7 in a row isn't a bad start.

Saturday is tough just purely for the fact they are our bogey team (much like Altrincham away)

They mentioned in commentary last night we're the first team in the top 5 divisions to get to 30 league goals.

We have played more games than most other teams though, on a goals per game ratio, were about 5th or 6th I think

Also, we beat Gateshead to 30 goals by about half an hour lol

24 according to Soccerbase:

Wrexham had 26:

Edit: Although i think the OP is comparing game for game rather that first 12 games of the season irrelevant of opponent?

Thats doing a table per round of games, the 8th Round of games were all postponed due to the Queen's Passing and not paid until late October/November but are being included in that table in the order they were supposed to have been played.

Wrexham's 12th game was an away defeat to Notts County which was the 13th Round of games due to the postponements on the 10th September.

league looks to be taking a bit of shape now, the 2 chasers have made impressive starts in terms of points tally whcih goes to show just how well we have done. Gateshead the surprise package? scoring for fun, could be a basketball game when we play them in a couple of weeks time, interestingly we have conceded more goals than 17 other teams in the league so far.
personally can't see anyone doing a stockport this season and coming from nowhere to take the league, so at this very early stage threat will most likely come from within that top 9, most of whom are quite well back from us.

Thought I'd take a look at how we were doing at this stage in the last few promotion campaigns:

2013-14 23 Pts - 1st in League Two (Finished 1st)
2010-11 25 Pts - 1st in League Two (Finished 1st)
2000-01 29 Pts - 1st in League Two (Finished 3rd )
1994-95 20 Pts - 6th in Division Three (Finished 3rd)
1984-85 24 Pts - 1st in Division Four (Finished 4th)

Oldham are probably most likely to do a Stockport based on form over the last 3 games, whether they can make up a 15 point gap is another question?

According to BBC sports
Notts 27 points
Wrexham 26 points
Chesterfield 24 points.
We lost the 12th game 2-3 to Dag & Red.
That's after 12 games.

You can’t compare the 2000/01 season as we had a points deduction

Both comparisons done, game for game we're up +7, in comparison to this time last year we're also up + 7 (I missed counting a draw somewhere) and up +5 on what Wrexham had this time last season (after 12 games)

I was inclined not to use it bearing in mind everything that happened, however the points were deducted at the end of the season, so after 12 games we were on 29 points, the closest to this seasons figure we have been in the last 5 promotion campaigns

94-95 doesn't really have any bearing on what we are doing at the minute as we weren't great before Xmas and the signing of Lormer and Robinson when we went on that mammoth unbeaten run

And an average of exactly 2.5pts per game after 14 games.
The BW game will mark just under a third of the season played. If we win, will this be our best ever first 3rd? One for the historical statto’s.
