Armand Gnanduillet has thanked the club and said his goodbyes to Blackpool fans via social media. He’s being tight lipped re where he’s going though. In my opinion should have done more with him, yes he was raw but there was some potential there.

Derby were linked in Jan, could he be making an upward move?

Danny Wilson was trying to 'wheeler deal' to try to keep us in the division so he had to look to offload before he could bring new faces in.

Had he have been given the budget of either manager both sides of him, then players with potential like AG we might have kept and developed.

He's obviously improved since his time with us, but he's on a selecet list of players we signed for free who commanded a fee when they left.

We had by far an extremely talented squad of players back then (Roberts, Doyle, Morsy, etc etc) - if we had kept hold of him when that team was broken up, he would have been the first name on the team sheet.

Good luck to the lad, I liked him but he never got a chance with us.

Bit of a read about how Liam Coopers move from us to Leeds came about...Chris Turner telling their guys to watch Cooper, Graham Bean involved on their side etc and seems we stand to make some more onn the transfer with Leeds impending promotion.

Aaron Chapman released by Peterborough - another one we set aside as not quite good enough for us in L1 who would probably be an asset now.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Unfortunately I think he was harshly judged here on one error and of cause he was in the shadow of Tommy Lee.

I would think he'd be setting his sights on league 2 at least for next season.

Chapmans biggest problem here imo was that the coach who brought him to the club and was teaching him the art of goalkeeping Mark Crossley left the club and the new goalkeeping coach Eric Nixon may not have rated him as high as Crossley which therefore led to his subsequent release

His biggest problem was Tommy Lee being so consistent that no keeper ever got a look in. Other deputies like Alex Cairns have gone on to perform well for other league clubs, which reinforces what we all knew- Tommy was class.
Chapman has proven himself a good League Two keeper, and at age 30 will surely get another club at at least that level.
These go to eleven.

Was the same issue with Richard O'Donnell as well, he went on to be a more than decent keeper in the football league but we werent in a position to carry him and Tommy Lee.
