Atmosphere 1/10

Whilst Chesterfield have seemingly left behind everything that they had at Saltergate, the one thing they did bring with them is the poor atmosphere. I visited Saltergate four times and rarely heard chants, that includes standing in their "Kop" on one occasion, and unfortunately the seems to have come over to the new ground, with only a brief spell of singing after they score goals.

Couldn't have been, comments on the other thread are more accurate.

Something for the club to look at with the new ticket booth, an 18 year old bragging at getting for the junior (14 and under) price

I must confess I always paid juvenile until I was 19 but I was a poor student so I didn`t feel any shame, I knew a few other lads that got away with it until they were 18 and I still know some now that manage it. Personally it doesn`t bother me, its not like they`re sneaking in for free and theres not a lot of money about these days.

Still lost revenue especially for an away fan who would have been expecting to pay full price and probably get a pint when inside.

and why would he not get one??

Recall a trip to Port Vale a few years ago, a mate tried his luck and managed to get in for Juvenile (despite being 19) after much arguing with the turnstyle operator and the steward and then spent the whole pre-match and half time avoidong said steward whilst drinking his beer!!

that was my point, he'd expect the best of both worlds, we've all done it, but it's still something the club ought to try and address
