I see Tommy Johnson, one of Roy's reported targets from last season, has signed for Scunny. Given that he's 34, it looks like he was probably seen as a short term solution and it appears our interest did not extend to following things up when he was released from Bramall Lane.

I`ve seen it documented on a few occassions that The Chief doesn`t train has much has the other players due to fitness problems and I`ve also heard Mac say that he has been used a little more this season than he would have liked.
With Folan recently signing a new 2 year deal and Larkin signing for 2 years it is really up to N`toya and Debolla to make headway this season.

Mr Mercury.

I'm sure it's fair to say that The Chief hasn't got too much left in the tank, but what little there is I'm sure he'll use sparingly and to good effect. My real concern is that without him we lack a physical presence, and struggle to hold the ball up. Though I've not seen Larkin play, (and it would be wrong to pre-judge his relative talents), I'm anxious that this coming season Caleb shows greater signs of learning from the master and uses his obvious physical attributes to maximum effect.
