Whilst I am more than happy to be proved wrong and have got absolute confidence in Roy & Rico putting together the best squad that they can possibly muster, did we need a striker with a 1 in 4 goal ratio?

Now I know strikers at 1 in 2 are like Rocking Horse wotsit but I just worry that our perennial problem - "don't score enough goals" will still be our achilles heel.

at the rosk of repeating other threads he had a 1 in 2 strike rate in this league with mansfield. You also have to consider a lot of his appearances where from midfield or out wide.
I think whoever we sign, for whatever position, whatever their background and from wherever they have come that we should all give them 100% support at least for the first few months of the season before we start questioning their ability and contributions they may make to the club.
