Presumably, the FA Cup has funded his pay off
Good Luck to him

Good luck to him in whatever his endeavors will be. I can't think of anybody else now that could be classed as deadwood so onwards & upwards.

A rather unglorified and sad end to what was initially an explosive and lethal striker. Such a shame really but I hope he gets sorted. Would have bene a major part in this set up but was , sadly, a shadow of his former self.
Good luck.

I'm not sure that your conclusion that he could never regain his former status can be drawn from the evidence we've been given. He got back into Cook's plans then underwent small scale surgery. Are you saying he simply could not recover from that even though we were told that the source of his niggling injury had been discovered?

Shame as you say. Never the same after his injury. Always looked tentative and a little lethargic after. His body language never looked good either.
A nearly man, sadly.

My only disappointment was his apparent refusal to go on loan to Kiddy in September
Had he done so just maybe maybe he’d be still in Cooks plans

Unfortunately, injuries caught up with him and, without knowing any other, his latest operation has not proven as succesful as it was hoped for.
Whatever the future holds for him I wish him well.

Wouldn't surprise me if his next port of call is Macclesfield.

He was pivotal to the positive progress this club has made over the past 3 years…..injuries & demands caught up with him.
He was quality when he joined, but not the quality Cook has introduced since he arrived under JR
Good luck for the future
