With it being so easy to prevent you would think there would be hardly any injuries in the premier league

Incidentally the mistake in the initial reporting of the nature of the interview led to the exposure of a typical pathetic lie from Carson.

Here after enjoying news of our defeat and finding out about the injury to Asante beleiving it was his achillies, he messaged me out of the blue (first time in months) yesterday afternoon to say the former physio had complained whilst at the club that they were doing too much sprinting in training whilst also suggesting Assante had got a weak achillies and therefore it was madness to give him an extended contract.

The only positive out of the news was it being confirmed that this was bollocks as the injury was to his knee.

Clearly our relative success is hurting him really badly.

Ha ha
You can never do too much sprinting in training! (Well within reason).
Is this the blonde physio who used to be at Town?

Yes, incidentally she's now at Swindon.

Don't believe the physio quote through it's almost certainly made up

I suppose this weak Achilles will have formed a key part of the then physio's comprehensive report to the management upon her conducting the club's medical evaluation of Asante? She was still the physio here at the time?
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Confirmation, if needed, that he’s a bell end.

Ha ha. What a prat.

Have you by any chance kept a record of all these messages over the years?
I particularly liked the one you told me about Charlie Carter.

I've got all emails and some texts, others are on on old phones. You'll have to remind me about the Charlie Carter one.

I do have another gem, when Pemberton resigned he stated this was because the club had brought in Dungworth above his head who was trying to run the show.

I sent him a Derbyshire Times report of when Dungworth joined us that quoted him saying Pemberton had brought him to the club.

I hope I've got the detail right, but it might jog your memory....

You were told that Martin Allen was after your phone number cos he wanted to trace the source of information you put on BB about a bid for Charlie. Carson asked you to delete the post.

Ah yes I remember now.

To further jog my memory I found some related messages (from 02/09/18). Mad Dog was foaming at the mouth because Carter wasn't aware of the bid which I wouldn't have been told about in confidence.

He’s an bottom hole, he’ll stick to messaging you from a distance rather than front up face to face with any town fan.
I won’t lose too much sleep over it.

Me neither I find it amusing as I always have, the most surprising thing is he still thinks I believe what he says when I never have.

Incidentally he's read this thread, sent me a massage at 9pm tonight suggesting I fell for what he originally said. It didn't need the correct diagnosis of the injury to know he was lying as friends with me when the original message came through can testify as we had a good laugh about it
