Millwall's no 9 came up through Stavely Miners Welfare and Glapwell according to Jonathan Pearce on commentary, anybody know him?

Not personally no. He's a Sheffield lad who did well at Staveley and scored lots one season.

Mansfield signed him from there (when non-league?) but he barely got a sniff and went to Halifax.

He’s a good lad Lee. I played with him at Staveley under Cluxton. He openly wanted the CFC move before Millwall went in for him.

We would have been an ideal fit for him to maybe start his career off and could have helped us financially with a sell on clause like clucas has done.
