Just at Tamworth now on the train coming North from Brum. Should be there in 20 mins or so. Not seen any other obvious Town fans on this train, sadly!

Why would pubs not want fans before the games? Not likely to be much animosity. Big crowd expected. Plenty of cash going over the bars

Just been speaking to the landlord in the Derby Inn near the ground. Apparently Rotherham and transitting Leeds supporters smashed a couple of town centre pubs up last season. Staffs Police have advised they may not respond in case of bother, owing to manpower shortages. Nervous publicans. Told them they are very unlikely to have any hassle today.
