in some ways this season has been more sheridan 1st spell than cook 1st spell, with all the emphasis being on outscoring the opposition without much attention being given to the defence, goalkeepers aside no investment in the defence department... and it has worked, as you move up you won't get away with it as often. all that said after 6 years in this league and the horrible slide that brought us to this level, credit to the players we have for bringing us to the brink of all brinks of success.

He didn’t do much today but he is a decent player and has turned in some good performances. Don’t get the criticism of him.

This is what's stumping me atm.
I can't figure out if Cook as implemented a 'go for it' tactic and try to bomb out each opposition playing the high line on tbe front foot and the defensive side of our game takes a beating now and again
Or
We have the defenders and the defensive set up/tactics in our locker, it's that Cook has not shown this much at all this season.

He's alright, he occasionally gets caught in possession when pressed but don't they all at this level.
