That‘ll be the Ange who selected Richarlison as one of just two players - along with Van de Ven - to retain his place in the side from the 2-0 win against Bournemouth, for the EFL Cup defeat by Fulham back in August.

No comparison between Cup and League it seems.

Oh. And it now seems Spurs still have a chance to bag a Champions League spot.

If you’re getting this stressed over it I apologise- I’m with big Ange on this about supporting a team:-

I don’t really see how wanting the club to win a game / a trophy has caused so much controversy- is it really bilge? Banal? Juvenile?

Last season Cook had most of the business done early so they could all go on the pre season team bonding trip to Spain or wherever it was. Fully expect the same again this time around so expect more incomings in the next couple of weeks - take your pick from Macfazdean, Clucas, Ben Fox, Dejaune Brown etc as to whom they may be.

Would like us to go after Lee Evans too but that might be a stretch

In Ben Fox, good to see us in for a player offered a new contract by his League One club.

One thing the game showed was that Cookie totally fcked up here- could have been a double winner but shut down after March.

I love the guy but he makes some stupid decisions

I’ve seen the sliding doors moment. We played a full team of first tenants on the quarter final, but lost.
    End of.
It would be a mess up if any material number of fans could care less. But they don’t.

The pattern seems to be if we win Danny Webb does press interviews, but if we lose Cook does them. Good to see last season Webb did most.
Regarding whether Cook will do more next season depends on how well we do.

It may be that Sky’s arrangements will mean Cook, as manager, has to give post match interviews.
Certainly that’s the case in the PL.
