Anyone ever go to Rotherham's Supporters' Club, The Windmill, around 1970 ?
Eddie used to come on and do any impression you could shout out.
Little and Large weren't great on tv but Eddie was brilliant on stage.

Remember him and Sid being guests at Bristol City v Town, doing the half time draw, many moons ago. I think they were on at the local theatre, although Eddie lived round there back then. Sid, of course, works with his wife at a pub near Fleetwood Town's ground, he's served me lunch a couple of times!

Seem to recall bumping into
Him at maine Rd back in the day
Reevesy penalty I think.
They spawned numerous
double acts
Not my favourite but
He were a massive man City fan
Wonder if they will respect him after
All this is done with.

Yes Syd and wife ran the Restaurant side of the Strawberry, he played the role of waiter, a lovely fella, approachable and very modest, he admitted he and Eddie rarely spoke after going their separate ways.
They moved to another pub, The Steamer, down the road four years ago
