It's a beautiful day (here anyway). I'll be very disappointed if they can't get the pitch playable. On the plus side, at least they can't do a Barnet and sit on our cash until they see fit to give it back.

Yep you would think the current weather would be firstly helping dry things out and secondly allowing them, if they want to and dont see why they wouldnt, to work on it to try and aid any recovery so that any more expected rain has minimal further impact.

The fact they think it's bad enough to need such an early inspection isn't a positive sign. Oh well, off to the pub for 1 anyway and if it's off will probably stay there all afternoon!

It will be a blessing if it’s off but how desperate are Halifax for our gate monies.

There still going to get a good pay day whenever it's played!

Years ago, covered either in a newspaper article or on TV, I'm sure it was Halifax that had to donate the club cat because they couldn't afford to feed him.

That besides I'm really looking forward to tonight and will be gutted if its off.

It will be midweek again but unlike today it wont be during half term so that will likely knock a few away fans off the following.

They'll get an even better pay day if it gets abandoned at half time for example. No refunds on cash only.
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Exactly.

Be interesting to know the thinking behind the cash only announcement.

You’ll find their official away attendance numbers will be slightly lower than actual away numbers when cash only
