I have added a forum for polls which a few of you have tried, the only condition is that we do not add any such as man of the match, player of the season etc which are covered by the text service that the club use. This is simply that we do not take income away from the club.

Some people have asked why I do not have sponsorship on this board, well I asked CFSS to try to arrange this but as usual nothing has happened. That is the reason nothing else.

The new site seems to me to be much quicker than the old one - is that the view of all of you.

Whilst I had to reinstall everything I updated the board to the latest version, this allows me to set group images, you will see the administrators have Charlie Chaplin as Hitler and moderators have a snarling beast. What shall I use for members - any suggestions.

One other thing the administrators can do now is email people when issuing warnings or bans, I have used it already and the person responded very positively so in future can moderators and adminstrators email giving the opportunity to apologise or withdraw the offensive posting. It does not mean that things cannot be deleted or moved it is only for warnings and bans and it does not mean the warning will be removed.

The polls are ok as long as it doesnt get silly like "who has the best hair"etc..

With regard to sponsorship all I will add is that its a shame you have to foot the bill yourself. Isnt there a way where you can charge for registration, maybe £2 a year etc to help you get your money back?

The messageboard does seem a bit quicker, lets hope the server providers are a bit more reliable than the last ones.

Well done Bob.

Mark,

I don't want any funding for this it is one of my ways of sponsoring the club, not that they appreciate it in any way. In fact Barry usually makes a snide remark when he see's me.

Any sponsorship for the board would go to the club.

Fair enough but if we did charge to use the messageboard, the money could go to the club, providing its a nominal fee like £2-£3 a season. It could raise a bit of dosh for the club.

As you can see I can add small images now to rankings,
