Ah ha. His brother, I think you may be right. Young Tarquin, yes I agree he is a fabulous dancer. Isn't he the one who used to own the Tapas bar on the beach front in Hunstanton??

Wasn't aware he'd moved to Aylsham. This Ms Brûlée certainly sounds like she's been a wonderful influence on him and his dancing career.

The last I'd heard, he'd gone off the rails. Pearl Sheperd from Grassmoor was telling me all about his difficulties. Apparently went a bit wayward after the death of his beloved Poodle. Whisper it quietly but I think narcotics were involved. Never would have guessed it , was such a
lovely lad as a boy was young Tarquin. I'm very surprised at his relationship with Ms Brûlée though, I always suspected he'd go the other way, and his dancing just seemed to confirm that. If he's happy though, I only wish him well.

Good old Pearl, thought she had dropped off her perch years ago! I remember her chasing us down the street after we scrumped some apples lol.

I seem to remember something about Hunstanton? He was spending a lot of time with that Cyril chap. So I understand the surprise over Ms Brûlée. I often wondered about his orientation after seeing him with Cyril when they visited the Arkwright arms whilst on Camra business some time ago (think the Berlin Wall was being knocked diwn at the time). That Mr Gorbachev was a lovely fellow.

I lost touch with their sister around the same time. What a girl! Always up for a laugh if you catch my drift! Oh we had some fun .. Although I reckon she was very generous in the "fun" dept .. She certainly did like to spread a little happiness! Ask any of the lads at North Wingfield Flower Arranging Society :)

after the lack of fight i have seen for this thread im now not convinced it will ever get to 100 pages

we are starting slowly....getting used to the new level....loking for new additions to the squad.....and then our season will take off....

Either that or the big guns will join the thread and all hell will break loose. Now what can we add to the title to inspire the interests of those who cant help but spout on and on and on....

Here's a good one, I applied for a job at Global Brands as a Purchase ledger clerk, never got a phone call or anything, so wrote it off as unsuccessful. Then on Saturday got a letter thanking me for attending an interview. Weird or what?

It’s just an experiment to see how many pages a thread can last, why not join in everybody, you know you want to really!

Cyril Flynn?? Surely not?? The one that used to knock about with Barnaby whatsisname?? Aha , Barnaby Crooks, that's him.

Well I could tell you a thing or to about Cyril. He used to clean my next door neighbours windows when I was living in the flats near the roundhouse at Barrow Hill. Had a little red Austin Montego.

Funny you should mention Pearl, and dropping off her perch. I don't know if you can remember, some while ago she had a little budgerigar. Well, the little bleeder, she used to carry him everywhere you know. Well we were outside the chip shop in Carr Vale, only nicked my mates battered sausage didn't it. Funny thing, I never saw it again after that. I heard a murmur that Pearl was so embarrased that when she got home she chastised the bird, and it died of a broken heart.

That lass sounds a right sort, my dad always warned me to steer well clear of her sort, wish I'd heeded his advice.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

Well,well,well ...

I never knew Cyril was "friendly" with Barnaby .. Used to be known as balls out Barnaby because of him wearing short shorts whilst on his bicycle!

I remember hearing about the red "passion wagon" but always dismissed the stories due to his closeness to you know who!

Pearl was a character ... Apparently she took him to the Church at St Augustines most Sundays till one day he shat on the Vicars dog collar! She used to pop round to see Dick & Doreen after church, they lived up on Birdholme Crescent I think? I bet you knew old Dickie? He was the one who loved a drink too many in the Angel most nights! Anyway, Doreen moved away from Dick recently and started a new life with Charlie Downes .. Now she does meals on wheels in Bolsover, duckmanton & Arkwright bless her!

As for that lass .. Let's just say she should have received a new years honour for services to local youth!!
