Looking forward to this one, with a few beers.

What's your thoughts on the score? I think the winner of the Tournement will come from the winner of this game personally - both solid at the back and capable of scoring when they want.

I'm going for a close game tonight 0-0, 1-1, then the winner in ET or even pens.

Got a feeling Italy will progress for some reason and win the thing a week on Sunday. They seem to defend and attack as a whole team, been very impressed with them, could have beat Spain by a lot more.

It's got the potential to be the best game of the tournament, let's hope so. Ozil / Kroos will be key for Germany if they're to unlock the Italians.

Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

The value looks to be with Italy. Happy to cheer them on too.

Got Italy at 18/1 before a ball was kicked so come on Gli Azzurri. I've enjoyed watching them and a £190 return would be quite nice.

Don't forget the 5% rule 4 deduction for England not taking part

Italy for me, but the Germans always seem to have what we've been discussing on the Wales v Belgium thread. Strong unit, work hard and for each other, mentally strong and they all know their own role as well as for the greater good of the team, so it's hard to ever back against them, but I am still going to go from what I've seen. Germany in the semi's then

As a bit of a side note. How often do you get each keeper captaining their sides?

If the singing of the anthems before the match is a guide the Italians will win at a canter

Thinking back to the enthusisasm showed by our pampered all stars team to the singing of God Save the Queen compared to how the Iceland team sang their anthem we will see if it has a bearing on the result

Sterile start! We'd have tonked these two teams put together if it wasn't for Roy's team selection and tactics.

Absolute masterclass from Germany, really enjoyed the first half. Admittedly, limited in opportunities, but the way Germany have closed down the space off the ball, then worked equally as hard to create space with the ball...brilliant. Italy will have to create something special to win this. IMO....

Oh, and, Lowe laughing at the histrionics of Conte on the sidelines did make me smile ☺

And yet if it was Croatia v Portugal it would be boring

A tactical masterclass is very good reason to catch up on a few zzzzzzzz's

That was some price, how ayone would write off Italy to that extent beggars belief. Nephew has the same bet, but I doubt it'll come off, but at 18/1?

There was a bet at 25/1, 0-0 HT, 1-1 FT and Italy to win on penalties
