Well you can but not with any credibility - but you gave up on that long ago.
Politics is opinions, there are no facts as to which party is "best" - best for who to start with, as what works for someone on benefits or minimum wage is probably not the same for a multi millionaire...
So as said, to say someone is stupid for voting for a party you dont support is a bit like saying they are stupid for being different / having different goals to you... except if they voted for Johnson, that was stupid. We all knew how that would end...

She said first thing that she didn't realise that the CPS weren't involved in the prosecution process. This is crucial cos it meant that PO lawyers didn't have their bad practices, habits, and lies vetted by anybody. It took her 4 years to cotton on. Not a good start.
I read that as "how can I deflect blame from my first statement".
AS CEO she is responsible. That's why they get the big bucks. No squirming, accept responsibility and be honourable. Religious my backside, the Church would never condone passing the buck like this... -

we had a debate at work the other day about the election... funnily enough there werent many Labour supporters (south east, average salary of the group debating well into 6 figures!), but also very few Tory fans. One lives in Brighton, a couple in the Western Home Counties, a couple in the Northern Home Counties, and one each for London, Kent and the West Midlands...
Its going to be a long 6 weeks. But i'm looking forward to the debates, as a KC, Starmer should be in his element if they have any policies to defend...although my guess is he is a much better prosecutor than implementor.. -

Well who?s the happiest a general election as been called? I at first thought Starmer, then I put our good friend EoC to the top of the list, but then surely ex PO CEO Paula Vennells will be on cloud 9..she was absolutely humiliated in her first of three days of giving evidence at the Horizon inquiry! That?s sadly gone unnoticed after the 5pm announcement from No10
Absolutely, very lucky lady, especially based on her performance today. I imagine the next two days could be quite explosive normally... -

'Guesstimates of things that haven't and might never happen'?
From the bloke who won't vote Labour 'cos he thinks some hard left takeover could, possibly, just maybe happen at some unspecified point in the future. Despite our friend 'Turrhall' saying similar because of a supposed right wing takeover.
For what it's worth the suggestions of why Sunak's called an early election in my initial response were from seasoned commentators in the mainstream media.
However it speaks volumes that your opening and subsequent posts focus almost entirely on taunting Labour whilst barely even mentioning the tories' record.
But hey, at least you didn't go ga-ga over Angie Raynor and things that 'haven't and might never happen' in terms of her former home again...
And there you go again, putting words in my mouth that I have never said. I have said have never, and probably never will, vote Tory. I've said I voted LD last time as I preferred their manifesto and I worry that the Unions and the left will spoil Labour plans. I have never said I wont vote Labour.
Of course I am taunting Labour, where would the sport be in taunting the Tories on here.
As for Rayner, has she been found innocent yet? Declared her tax advice? But you assume she is innocent when you would assume a Tory was guilty. I could never bow to the alter of the rosette and subvert my thoughts and opinions to theirs, but good for you...
(I did mention gold plated pensions though - thought you'd comment on that! Another perk to the public sector, they can wait to see who wins and then f off to live elsewhere if they dont like who wins or the new roles, knowing their pension is secure!)

05 Jul 2023 - 20:10Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
Thanks
