heard talk yesterday that CFC have not got planning consent for the concert yet - they apparantly need written consent from the planning dept to hold anything other than a sporting event in the stadium ?
looking at the original planning consent it states -
17. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town & Country Planning (General
Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking or
re-enacting that Order), the football stadium shall not be used for other
uses in Class D2 without the written approval of the Local Planning
Authority.
Reasons for Conditions
17. To safeguard the residential amenities of the surrounding occupiers.

Of course they have everything needed to stage this event otherwise it wouldn't have been given the go ahead,although i stress they have not consulted local residents unless they have been calling on a international or witheld number neither of which i answer
