I thought that , I'm watching that game now.

I suspect the fact it’s on telly has had a bit of say in it still being on!

When are we expecting this to be rearranged to?

AGM on 13th March. What a joyous occasion it will be if promotion has been secured.
I’m thinking free champagne, more investors, plans for spending EFL money, infrastructure ideas...... to celebrate the exorcism of The Chuckle Brothers.
So chucking the Halifax match in before then could help. Probably impractical though.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I wonder if that’ll be the occasion where an additional cash injection by the Kirk’s is announced, to build on the success so far.

Looking at the fixtures, We play Sat 16 March and Halifax play the Sunday 17th March so Tuesay 19th will be out. Do you reckon it might be Wednesday 20th? Poss 26th March so shoehorn it in. Would make it an extremely busy period.
But April looks OK to squeeze a Tuesday night in for both clubs

As the rearranged game must be played within 42 days of the original fixture, we can forget about April.

Also very likely the Gateshead game will need to be fitted in. The potential to bring that forward is now reduced.

Thing is that with the continuing wet weather, one of the possible March dates, the 5th, may be unavailable because the pitch is still unfit.

Not sure the 42 day rule is set in concrete. Surely the Gateshead game was rearranged more than 42 days

It states "unless under exceptional circumstances"
So I guess us and Gateshead claimed exceptional circumstances due to Xmas and New Year being in the way.

Does that put it right in the window of when we could confirm things? We could take loads onto that terrace if so and be interesting to see if it’s still cash on the gate if that is the case!!

Halifax play Oxford on the Sunday is probably why our game is on Wednesday rather than the usual Tuesdays.

It certainly does. Love to be on the nice big terrace again.

If this ends up being a game where promotion can be mathematically secured, and HTFC don’t think ahead and make the game all ticket, we could end up with an unknown number turning up, having set off after work, and arriving en masse at those (2 or 3?) cash only turnstiles shortly before KO. I know there’s a big away capacity, but surely it would be sensible to offer advanced tickets via CFC for this one, with any left being available on the night at the turnstiles.

They won’t want to bother with any work they don’t think they need.
