The defence has tightened up.
The passing between the players seems to be a lot crisper and the through balls seem to be played to perfection.
The fact that the players are just going to one place to train and not travelling to different grounds must have some bearing on the performances and results.
I did think the same, mate. They say success is all about habits and routine - it can’t have helped having no routine in regards to where we trained.
I love what’s going on at the club currently, really setting ourselves up for long term success.

The only way then is up, new training ground, gain promoting which, I know it's only October and there will be little blips but its looking good. Then when in league two start funding a proper academy and who knows where we could go.
What a different feeling the place has from 6 - 7 years ago. This is how you run a football club

Doubt it apart from the defence tightening up I don’t see any difference from most of those marvellous attacking performances earlier in the season.
Hopefully we’ll see the full benefit all around the squad as things develop

But agree the feeling is a LOT better than a few years ago and I don't think the Kirks have bad intentions.

One notable difference is that we are scoring more headers.

The Kirk's have consistently said that the Trust should always remain the majority shareholder.
My understanding, albeit very limited, is that there's not much wriggle room now for new shares to ever be issued, or for Phil's non voting shares to be converted.
Interesting that some of the investment allows for traditional lending going forwards.

I said at the start of the season judge our performances after 15-20 games. I can also only see us improving as the season goes on.

I don't think we can improve too much more as we have earnt 22 out of 24 points in the last 8 games.
Consistency is paramount. The same energy, pressing, possession and goal rate is what is going to secure promotion.
Carry on like we have and Oldham Away in March should be a Promotion Party

That's good to know, I'm not anti them I think they've done great for us. Listening to One of the Kirks and Croot on the "We are Sailing" podcast they're clearly trying to do what's best for the club and to get the club more in the community etc.

You mean like the one they had at our place winning 1-1.

Is it my eyes playing up or is the inter-passing a bit sharper ?
Thought at BW in the right corner second half there was a touch of how Man City go about it.

They're looking to raise £10k towards a £14k target. They need ongoing maintenance and equipment like the freekick mannequins, Teqball tables and a lot of other stuff.
The 8-9 game run we had last season coincided with a run when we were unable to use our training ground. We've only been back using ours for 3/4 weeks and you can see the difference it is already making.
The training ground has cost in the region of £300k to get it back into a usable state.
They also looked at the medium-long term needs like building changing rooms, cafeteria, media room, offices, toilets/showers etc, but that is down to getting planning permission and looking at building from scratch Vs modular build etc.
