Same reason many sports bars will be open showing every game that they can, it will bring in custom. Even if they just showed the home nations and their groups, or the big teams / big games / anything that starts at the right time when they dont have bookings and can get staff...

For my job I do some work with Fleetwood and as much as I don't like them as a club they do have a great bit at their training ground which is open to supporters, they have a sports bar and for England matches they put up a big screen outside with food stalls for people to attend. Be class if we could do something similar do at the ground.

Fan zones are normally on match days, not really economical for a couple of hours with a maximum of 400 punters.
God I hate this league.
