You do that, it will undoubtedly hurt the club and not Dave Allen, Turner et all.
A visionary protest during the match aimed towards the powers that be would gain more publicity than any protest outside prior to kick off. The problem with a banner on the kop would be trying to gain entry with it, let's not forget that whilst we talk amongst ourselves on here "big brother" is watching us so if the idea is to unravel a banner (which would be an embarrassment for them) then they stop the protest at source and confiscate it before it's even got chance to see the light of day.
How's about this?
A few clubs supporters have done a red card protest against boards decisions, yes, it's been done a few times but even if any football supporter who is watching the match with the sound off would know it to be a protest. Point it towards the directors box. It's easy to get it into the ground aswell. That is the visionary side of it.
Whilst showing the red cards sing "Where's our money gone?" to the tune of "Where's your caravan?" That can be heared over the tv for the people watching it, let's not forget that this match is gonna be on radio aswell so it goes out over the airwaves.
That would embarrass the board.
you don't need one single banner.
Remember the J U 'S T B O U N C E T shirts on the front row of the East stand.

The issue with any protest mid game will undoubtedly have an adverse effect on the players.

Pre match/Pre Kick off/Half Time/Post match would surely be better?

The players on the pitch are not going to start winning matches because the crowd are not protesting. If that was the case then Scunthorpe would be licking there wounds right now. This is one match where pre match, halftime, post match the cameras will be focused in the studio and not on the pitch. It won't get any publicity like during match protests.
This is our one moment to shine nationwide here so if we want to make an impression then we need to at all costs unfortunately.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

If we all want to do something, we need to set something up because the Sheff Utd game is the best opportunity we're gonna get to get proper coverage and to get our voices heard.

Would a few shirts gain more publicity than three stands showing red cards?

If your gonna do it, just be vocal. Loud continued booing or chanting from the start will be picked up on the skysport microphones around pitch side.
The cameras will be focused on the pitch and football being played, so any banner in the kop will only be seen in goal mouth action- unless it's in the west stand as the cameras are usually at the back of the east stand straight opposite (possibly watching the board members squirm lol)

Every time United score at the kop end is an opportunity and I guess there'll be 4/5 occasions.

Thing is - if people start chucking stuff on the pitch and stewards ordered to chuck people out for doing it, it will end in banning orders for loyal fans. You can bet your bottom dollar the Big Cheeses will flex their muscles on that one!

That's why a good old chant/booing/general noise aimed at the 3 amigos live on skysports is a cost free (apart from match ticket) peaceful protest. You've only got to bring your best singing voice!

And a private message account set up,because the powers that be will be reading this board in order to scupper any protests.

Ashley Carson needs to spend more time sorting out the shambles of a football club than sticking his nose on here I reckon?

Well if they sack off "C" and change B and S to R's and J to a T, shuffle about a bit they've cracked it

I'd suggest if you're serious about doing something, don't organise it on here.

It's already been referred to by Les on Facebook

I can easily imagine a scenario where efforts being made to stop any visible protests
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

A simple, straightforward message: 'Where's the money gone?'.

A banner would be great, but repeated chants will also highlight the issue.
