Anyone any idea what sort of numbers we’ve sold so far with the extended early bird offer coming to an end pretty soon?

Disappointingly I still think that figure is less than the previous total sold. Given the number of season tickets that have reportedly been sold to new holders, a good chunk of existing holders have clearly chosen not to renew. Let's hope this has a positive impact on the number of walk-ups on a match day.

I don't think it's disappointing. Financial hardship during covid + there being no option to pay in instalments will limit numbers. Plus there'll be people like me who would commit to a ST but there's some uncertainty over certain weekends and I also want the option to move around the ground. I'll probably end up paying more than I would if I got a ST overall.

Sorry to be pedantic but it's less than the previous total we were told we'd sold.

I'm still hoping that they will do a membership card like we have previously had so that you can upload any tickets bought to it rather than printing out everytime. Obviously they'd need to charge about £20 for it, but it would stop a lot of hassle and possibly open up the option to buy 5 or 10 games at a discount that can be used for any match in the season

As an aside the Stags have sold 2,439 their highest total for a decade, although they did slash prices for renewals to £250 and gave free tickets to under 7's.

We effectively increased our prices from last time on sale given we play a game less

I think a lot of people will still be wary of large crowds due to covid and don't want to risk it.

And a free home shirt included

Stags really shouldn’t be our yardstick tho

It’s hard to compare with previous seasons as we don’t know how many were sold and how many given away

It is funny that they are ecstatic selling that amount with all the freebies and we are bemoaning 2600 with the price increase

If you’ve got a smart phone then you don’t need to print tickets. Just open the attachment, zoom in on the barcode and scan your phone at the turnstile.

I thought this was asked a while ago and the talk was the actual scanners on the turnstile weren’t new enough to be capable of scanning a phone screen?

Yep, my iPhone worked fine on Tuesday.

I don’t own a printer so it was either buy online then queue to collect or queue and pay pre-match anyway.

I can’t believe the club don’t openly promote it as an option for tickets.

Yep definitely handy to know for future reference. I was sure it’d been asked before and folk said the scanners couldn’t scan barcodes off phone screens.

Yes it was probably me after I had been to Harrogate and used my iPhone to display the ticket purchased and scanned on entry. I had an exchange with Steve Coe just after and asked if we were going to offer the same but he said the upgrade option was too expensive (I think he quoted about £20k) and it was put to bed.
If we have upgraded it has been kept a bit quiet because it’s a great step up making access to games so much easier.

It used to be a lot easier when you gave the bloke on the gate 2 bob he'd give you a tanner change and in you went.

Worked fine for me too. Zoomed in on the barcode, pushed into the reader and it worked straight away.
