    I believe Tyrer was mentioned on here weeks before his actual signing was announced. I’d imagine give the crucial nature of the position Cook will want confirmation, one way or the other, very early!

    They’d have played maybe up to six games fewer, might have sneaked 3rd place, so 1 less game to play in the play offs, so would have been much fresher and may well have had more backing for one Wembley play off final than if folk hadn’t already booked the Trophey final. More than happy how it worked out for us.

    Given how well Tyrer performed last season and Cooks love of continuity and certain style of play I’m sure alll the stops will be pulled out to get him here for another year. I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t back.
