Didn't Wrexham lift it on TV on an evening game last season?

It would be planned, yes.

I can't see how convention would be broken and it not be at the last game. Saturday would be fine though.

Yes there will be a plan but I do not believe they would plan it to be on a day before we can mathematically win it, and advertise the fact.

It will be announced once the Fat Lady Has Sung

It was only that game that they secured the Championship, and it was the last home game of the season.

I think they should take the trophy to Halifax just in case, and lift it there if done

And then lift it again on Saturday

And the following Friday, and Easter Monday, then at Gateshead, and Wealdstone and lastly again on April 20th

Everyone gets to see then!

If circumstances are appropriate, I also wonder whether B/W will give us a Guard of Honour?

Would ashmore be able 'to breath in' long enough for us to pass through the guard of honour?

If it’s anything like the last few trophy lifts the whole thing is an anti-climax anyway. Hanging around for half an hour while the atmosphere cools as they erect the podium and set up the party poppers.

Nothing beats the celebrations leading up to the final whistle.

I guess the NL have a major part in the decision making as it’s their trophy anyway

All these 3rd parties making decisions on the clubs behalf it seems. We dont need a board as everyone else makes the decisions for us.

Never their fault is it?

The rumour is it's the club pushing this. No doubt they will try and blame others.

Disgraceful decision if so.

That's your rumour; the other one is that TNT have pressed the National League to do it at a game that they are actually televising.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Makes a change from being the clubs fault for other clubs ticketing arrangements I suppose😂

This change against a back drop of planned engineering works around Chesterfield station, making it even harder for people to change plans.

Similar mentalities?
Town fan has more chips in his shoulders than Boythorpe Fryer.Maybe he should support a London club?
He could go with Socks occasionally.

I will when the barnacles start making some decisions that put the fans first and not their own interests.

As an exile who doesn't get to many games but has a ticket for the last game, has sorted somewhere to stay, someone to watch the dog and the kids, I'd be extremely disappointed if it was done this Saturday at a game I can't get to. (Will be at the Kidderminster game)
