i have no idea why but i found myself listening to dean brennans post match interview, seems a decent enough guy but, called out his players, including special mention for his goal keeper, talked about needing his best players back, but did pay tribute to us and paul cook and stated that there is nothing in this league aside from chesterfield, i'd pretty much go along with that, seen a few decent sides this season but most blend into each other, the ones with the better strikers have just done that bit better, is it as simple as that? probably not in truth

I said before the season started that Brennan and Woodman were good managers but we had the best. Listening to Brennans interviews though, there were similarities to listening to JR. I reckon he's a respectfully manager but he is in it for himself.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Listened to a minute. Sour grapes and a m@rdarse.

Listened to Woodman…blamed loss of key players and replacements “boys did good”. You’d never hear this from Webb or Cook. They respect other teams and players. Love CFC

It’s hard to compare managers when the resources at their disposal are so varied.

Some managers with little to work with can sometimes fail when given the resources at a higher level, others prosper.

Put Lewis Hamilton in one of the smaller constructors cars and he doesn’t win Grand Prixs.

Just be thankful we have a great manager doing an amazing job with the fantastic resources at his disposal. No need for the comparisons. .

Well Done Sewey. Brilliant thread. Really enjoyed the weekly updates. Will miss the regular tick off list. Lest hope we will be doing something similar in L2.

See his latest post match interview on YouTube.
Ignored the first question to pay tribute to PC instead, very nice.

barnet managed a late point today, meaning they can now finish with a maximum of 88 points, so as an addition to this thread (becasue why not), when did we actually win the league? we hit 88 a while ago, if they drop more points we can trace it back further.

There's still an important stat to fight for........
The least number of losses, which we had in the bag a couple of weeks ago. You can't be great Champions without it.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

How can we fight for that when it’s gone?

nice one. so there is a possibility that it can transpire that the night we beat Barnet in effect sealed it...

A win for Halifax at home to Oldham on Wednesday evening sees the Latics confined to another season in the NL.

incredible to think when you look at this that no one else in our league has yet hit 80 points and we were there at the start of February.
