21 more points and I think we’re up. Unless Oldham win every single remaining game (which they won’t) I cannot see anyone overtaking us as they are too inconsistent

More points this season to date than we have managed in 9 out of the last 12 seasons in total and its only 23rd January.

Sounds better if you say 7 wins.
God I hate this league.

Not a channce Oldham or anybody else will catch us up, we'll win the league by at least a dozen points. I can't believe it, never known a start like this in all my 60yrs watching Town.

Wrexham had 68 points at this stage when they were in a constant battle with County week on week!

We're just doing this for the f**king fun of it!

We’re pretty much safe from relegation based on home games alone before the end of Jan!

We're 26pts ahead of them and you still feel the need to mention them in the same breath as us? You really are the boards biggest doom mongerer because you genuinely say these things through fear and not just for reactions.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Mad to think that if we win 10 more games out of the possible 24 remains, we break 100 points

This could be a record breaking season for many reasons
Highest points total
Goals scored
Earliest ever champions

Under Cook, we will not ease up & there’s going to be some serious thrashings come the end of the season….ill throw it out there…I bet we score 8 in one game before the end of the season

12 for certain

7 I reckon though

Just for sh*ts and giggles, heres the only seasons we got more points:

2022/23 - 84 (lost in playoff final)

2021/22 - 74 (lost in playoff semi)

2013/14 - 84 (League Two Champions)

2010/11 - 86 (League Two Champions)

2000/01 - 80 (promoted, 9 points deducted)

1995/96 - 72 (7th in League One)

1994/95 - 81 (3rd in League Two, Playoff Winners)

1989/90 - 71 (7th in League Two, Playoff Finalists)

1984/85 - 91 (League Two Champions)

1969/70 was 64 points but back when it was 2 points per win and modern day would have been 91 points...

This season is worth mentioning as it is the most wins ever in a season.. 27 tied with the 1933/34 season in Division Three North

We are 4 wins from matching these two season, 5 from the best EVER!!

It’s just crazy to think that if we beat Southend on Saturday, we’ll realistically only need to draw the remaining 17 games to win the league.
This board, management team & players have taken us to a level I never thought I’d witness again. Well done and thank you to all involved.

Actually, just taking our home games against the others full records we’d still be in the playoffs!

I was referring to the fact that they’d need to win all there games if we didn’t win again. That’s not going to happen. I used Oldham as an example as they are the only side likely to have the purchasing power and lure to bring in better players compared to your Barnet’s and Bromley’s of this league.
