OMG Andy I dare bet that most of the whingers on here have only been attending games for the past 15 years or less. God help them if they had been through some of the many seasons that we have mate lol.

Some sensible people are pointing out there’s a still a long way to go
Totally agree a long way to go, but the games in hand are very relevant. We can get points from these games abs Bromley can’t

Football, like a lot of other things in life is not and never will be a straight road. You have to overcome some obstacles to complete the journey. The likes of Paul Cook find solutions whereas bottle jobs throw in the towel.
We are top of the league, 4 points clear, games in hand, a superb manager, the best group of players we've had since Cookie's first stint here, excellent football and atmosphere which most clubs in our division and the one above would be envious of, more home supporters are watching our games than ever before in our recent history and we have some off the field stability.
If the panic bottoms are unable to enjoy this season after everything we have been through recently then the problem lies directly and firmly with them I'm afraid.

And we will mate, we will. And there's a good chance we could pick up all nine. We're good enough.

i understand the anxiety of some fans because to not do it from here would be devastating and almost a feeling of "that was our chance", that's how i felt walking away from wembley in may because you start again from 0, same as everyone else.
my niggle with this team is that we don't protect our goal well enough, the CB/GK triangle doesn't shout "ASSURANCE" to me and that is the one area i feel we are vulnerable, it's not individuals as such but collective, perhaps boxing day highlighted it ( i wasn't there hence why i say "perhaps") we won't always score multiple goals but we seem capable of always conceeding.
bromley's xmas back to back games dropped very nicely for them playing a side in the relegation zone, whilst we face a strong competitor for the play offs (a weird NL thing that is another hurdle to overcome)
to quote cook and webb, after 46 games, everyone will have played everyone twice and at that point the table will tell the story. so far we are not on parity with bromley in terms of games played, equally and more importantly they are not on parity with us in terms of points gained. Totally disinterested in what woodman wants to say to try and start "mind games", he has yet to win a promotion as a manager... now should the worst case scenario play out and bromley do get ahead of us at some point this season, then they have to deal with pressure, the single quality that ultimatley seperates champions from the rest, they failed to deal with that at our place in the spring, chasing is one thing, being chased is a whole different story.
all that said, a win on monday would be lovely

For not shouting assurance we’ve conceded 9 goals in 15 games since the beginning of October and two of those games were against league one sides!

JB that is an amazing stat and credit for putting it up... btw i'm nowhere near the panic button. we control games incredibly well so the opponents get little by way of a look in, that said 10 teams have managed to hit our net twice or more

Maybe so but only 4 of those since beginning of October and two of those games we won and in those we were 4-0 and 3-0 up before they scored.
