And the club is to appoint a new CEO. Likely next week #Spireites

A man with a 'wealth of experience' - get the feeling the club are pretty pleased about this one. Bit of a fresh start perhaps.
Kev Davies would be the icing on the cake.

Whoever it is they must have the relevant experience and relevant qualifications in running such a company, not just a mate of a mate.
Has the CEO post been advertised anywhere and if so how many applied and how many have been interviewed?

Qualifications and the relevant experience that is required in such an important position, doubt it.
Been there with Turner and look where that's got us!!

He has a business and football background as well as a PR man. Some of his quotes about his time at Man City could read like us...
“For the first 18 months, I didn't take a day off because the whole place was a shambles.”
“I became more involved in the day-to-day running of the club. I started noticing things around the club and thinking: 'There are better ways of doing this'.
Would be a very interesting appointment indeed
His profile reads like a CFC job description Experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the public relations and communications industry. Skilled in Crisis Management, Event Planning, Sports Management, Hospitality Industry, and Event Management. Strong entrepreneurship professional

Too little too late I`m afraid.
The previous fool of a CEO, the head of recruitment and the "real" CEO in the shadows have done so much damage over the last 2 1/2 years its going to take years to recover.
If we drop into the national league, which we could easily do, the club may not recover full stop.

We need someone that is going to weild the axe wherever needed, wherever there is incompetency or waste not someone that just keeps paying everyone off.
We also need someone that investigates where our money has gone and actively through the courts tries to get it back from those responsible.
We need someone that involves the relevant authorities should they find anything illegal/fraudulent
We need a fkin hero to sort out this sorry fking mess

Whereas in reality it will be someone recommended by those within their network.

Mike Warner is ex Derby County. I have no idea whether their paths crossed, but if it is him, let's hope that he's Mike's recommendation.
Any road up, we've now got Allen replacing Carson with a new man (or woman). We'll have to put up with a certain amount of bull from Carson claiming this is his initiative, but it will be worth it.
Meanwhile, whilst Jack may be able to justify his 'I'm not answering that question, it's history' stance, the new CEO will not.
