I quite fancy Wales at 2/1 but think I'll swerve anything on the result of that. I've had a couple on tonight's game so far - England win/Kane to score at 3/1 and each team to have 4+ corners at 11/8.

What do you mean?

you place a pre match bet of up to £50, that is a stand alone win or lose bet.
You then Place an In play bet in value up to your pre match bet IE £50, this, if a losing bet is refunded into your account as cash. You place this as a direct opposite to your pre match bet but chose the higher less likely odds for the refund bet.
So tonight I bet both teams to score in the second half..NO at 2/9 if that came up I would have returned £61.11. The £50 in play at 3-1 for both teams to score second half returned, with stake £200. If that had lost I would have had my £50 in play stake refunded into my account hence £111.11 for my £100 total stake.
The riskier, higher odds bet is the one that you risk losing and being refunded, thankfully tonight that won so instead of a guaranteed £111.11 I got £200.
