AC has tweeted a few times in the last couple of days asking fans to show up in their numbers in the hope that we can break 6k and give GC the welcome he deserves.
Presumably, he knows the North Stand will be populated by freebie 'home' fans as tickets have been distributed amongst kids teams (and parents) who play in the Sheffield Leagues, depending on how many have been given away (and the club should know this figure) this could well push it above 7k anyway.
Also, how does the link to Sheffield Junior Leagues come about? Is the club a sponsor?

Isn't the set up across the road that's got nothing to do with CFC the sponsor ?

I thought I recalled seeing it on the website before it was pulled from view but according to the Sheffield JFL website its the football club that sponsors them:
https://www.junleague.com/
I hope our esteemed friend wasn't using the clubs good name in vain, again??
edit: FWIW I think I'd guess 6500-7000 depending on how many freebies have been handed out.

I'd think that about right.......and add on 500 freebies, of which 374 are used.
attendance on Saturday = 6104.
(ps, I don't see the 'GC effect' making any difference, frankly. If the Club had been well run in the last God knows how many months, and had fallen through the League solely because of poor on-the-pitch management, I could see an attendance bounce. Unfortunately, the bus left a while ago regarding good management THROUGHOUT the Club and so any 'bounce' will have to come in time for GC......from AC et al showing us less smoke and mirrors and more dedication to the Club we support.)

Could well break 7k
Would be a cracking effort if we do. No idea how many we have sold in the North as it's not online but the regular 5200+new manager factor+4/500 away+North Stand could mean a decent crowd.
Said it on another thread but hope some of the stay aways seen this as a partially clean slate and a new start under GC and make an effort.

Looking forward, hopefully, to a different approach on the pitch.

Exactly, looking forward to the lads putting some effort in for the new manager and show him they want to stay and fight for their place. Actually buzzing a little for tomorrows game for the first time in a long time. Not expecting anything major but some fight would be nice.
